-
General Terms and Conditions: These General Terms and Conditions of Mapleluxx.
Article 2 – Right of Withdrawal The consumer has the right to withdraw from the agreement within a 30-day cooling-off period without giving any reason. During this period, the consumer must handle the product and packaging with care. If the consumer makes use of the right of withdrawal, they must return the product along with all delivered accessories and – if reasonably possible – in the original condition, following the reasonable instructions provided by Mapleluxx.
Article 3 – Applicability These general terms and conditions apply to every offer from Mapleluxx and to every distance agreement concluded between Mapleluxx and the consumer. Before a distance agreement is concluded, the text of these general terms and conditions shall be made available to the consumer. If this is not reasonably possible, it will be indicated before the distance contract is concluded where the general terms and conditions can be consulted and that they will be sent free of charge upon request. If the distance agreement is concluded electronically, the text of these terms and conditions may, contrary to the previous paragraph, be provided electronically to the consumer so that they can be easily stored on a durable data carrier. If specific product or service terms apply in addition to these general conditions, the most favorable provision for the consumer shall prevail in case of contradiction. If one or more provisions in these general terms and conditions are invalid or destroyed at any time, the rest of the agreement and these terms will remain in effect, and the invalid provision will be replaced by a valid one reflecting the original intent. Unregulated situations and ambiguities shall be interpreted according to the spirit of these general terms and conditions.
Article 4 – The Offer If an offer is subject to a limited duration or specific conditions, this will be explicitly stated. All offers are non-binding. Mapleluxx reserves the right to modify or update offers. The offer includes a complete and accurate description of the products and/or services provided. Descriptions are sufficiently detailed to enable a proper assessment by the consumer. Images used by Mapleluxx represent the products/services truthfully. Obvious errors do not bind Mapleluxx. All images and specifications are indicative and do not entitle to compensation or contract termination. Images of products reflect the actual products, but exact color matching is not guaranteed. Every offer contains sufficient information for the consumer to understand the rights and obligations linked to acceptance. This includes:
-
Any shipping costs;
-
The method of concluding the agreement and necessary steps;
-
Whether or not the right of withdrawal applies;
-
Payment, delivery and contract execution details;
-
The validity period of the offer;
-
The price of distance communication if it differs from the base rate;
-
Whether the agreement will be archived and how the consumer can access it;
-
How the consumer can review and correct input before placing the order;
-
Available languages for the agreement;
-
The applicable codes of conduct and how to access them;
-
The minimum duration for distance transactions;
-
Optional: available sizes, colors, materials.
Article 5 – The Agreement The agreement is concluded upon the consumer’s acceptance of the offer and compliance with the associated conditions. If accepted electronically, Mapleluxx confirms receipt without delay. Until receipt is confirmed, the consumer may cancel the agreement. Mapleluxx implements appropriate technical and organizational security measures for electronic data transmission and provides a secure web environment. Mapleluxx may assess the consumer's ability to fulfill payment obligations. If there are valid reasons not to enter into the agreement, Mapleluxx may refuse the order or impose conditions. Upon delivery of products or services, Mapleluxx will provide the following information in writing or in a storable format:
-
Mapleluxx's business address;
-
How to exercise the right of withdrawal or whether it is excluded;
-
Warranty and post-purchase service details;
-
Details already disclosed before the contract was concluded;
-
Termination conditions for long-term agreements. For ongoing transactions, this only applies to the first delivery. Every agreement is conditional upon the availability of the ordered products.
Article 6 – Right of Withdrawal When purchasing products, the consumer may cancel the agreement within 30 days without stating reasons. This period starts on the day after receipt of the product by the consumer or an appointed third party. During this period, the consumer should handle the product and packaging with care and only unpack or use it as needed to assess suitability. If exercising the right of withdrawal, the product and all accessories must be returned, ideally in original condition and packaging, as per Mapleluxx's instructions. The consumer must notify Mapleluxx within 30 days of receipt to exercise the right of withdrawal, preferably via written message or email. After notification, the consumer must return the product within 30 days. Proof of return, such as a tracking receipt, is required. If the deadlines are not met and/or the product is not returned, the purchase becomes final.
Article 7 – Costs in Case of Withdrawal If the consumer exercises the right of withdrawal, the return shipping costs are at their own expense. If the consumer has paid, Mapleluxx will refund the amount within 30 days of withdrawal, provided the product is received or return proof is submitted.
Article 8 – Exclusion of Right of Withdrawal Mapleluxx may exclude the right of withdrawal for certain products, as clearly stated in the offer. Exclusion applies to:
-
Custom-made products;
-
Clearly personal items;
-
Items that cannot be returned due to their nature;
-
Perishable or expired goods;
-
Items with fluctuating prices on the financial market;
-
Newspapers and magazines;
-
Sealed audio/video/software if unsealed;
-
Hygiene products if unsealed.
Article 9 – Pricing Prices will not be increased during the offer period, except for VAT changes. Mapleluxx may offer variable pricing for items linked to financial market fluctuations. Price increases within three months of agreement formation are only allowed due to legal changes. Price increases after three months are only allowed if agreed upon and if the consumer may cancel the contract from the effective date. All prices are subject to printing and typographical errors. Mapleluxx is not obliged to honor incorrect prices.
Article 10 – Compliance and Warranty Mapleluxx guarantees that products and services meet the agreement, listed specifications, reasonable usability, and legal requirements. Agreed alternative uses are also covered. Manufacturer guarantees do not affect consumer rights under the agreement. Defects or incorrect deliveries must be reported within 30 days. Returns must be in original packaging and unused condition. Warranty duration matches the manufacturer’s warranty. Mapleluxx is not liable for unsuitability for individual use or user instructions. Warranty does not apply if:
-
Products were repaired/altered by the consumer or third parties;
-
Products were used in abnormal conditions or against instructions;
-
Defects arise from government regulations affecting material quality.
Article 11 – Delivery and Execution Mapleluxx takes great care in receiving and fulfilling product orders. Orders will be processed promptly within 30 days unless a longer timeframe is agreed. Delays or partial deliveries will be communicated within 30 days. The consumer may cancel the order and receive compensation. In case of cancellation, Mapleluxx refunds the payment within 30 days. If the ordered product is unavailable, a substitute may be offered with clear notification. Right of withdrawal applies to substituted items. Return costs are covered by Mapleluxx. The risk of damage or loss transfers to the consumer upon delivery, unless agreed otherwise.
Article 12 – Ongoing Transactions: Duration, Termination, and Renewal
Termination The consumer may terminate an agreement of indefinite duration for the regular delivery of products or services at any time, with due consideration of agreed termination rules and a notice period of no more than one month. The consumer may terminate a fixed-term agreement at the end of the specified duration under the same conditions. Termination may:
-
Occur at any time;
-
Be executed in the same manner as the agreement was concluded;
-
Be done using the same notice period that Mapleluxx applies for itself.
Renewal Fixed-term agreements may not be automatically renewed or extended. By exception, newspaper/magazine subscriptions may be extended for a maximum of three months if the consumer can cancel with one month’s notice. Fixed-term contracts for regular delivery may only be renewed indefinitely if the consumer can cancel at any time with a maximum one-month notice (three months for deliveries less than once a month). Trial or introductory subscriptions end automatically after the agreed period.
Duration If the agreement lasts more than one year, the consumer may terminate after one year with a maximum notice of one month, unless early termination is unreasonable.
Article 13 – Payment Unless otherwise agreed, payments must be made within seven working days after the withdrawal period mentioned in Article 6. For service agreements, this term begins after confirmation of the agreement. Consumers must report incorrect payment information promptly. In case of default, Mapleluxx is entitled to recover reasonable pre-communicated costs from the consumer.
Article 14 – Complaints Procedure Complaints must be submitted clearly and fully described within seven days after discovery of the issue. Complaints will be responded to within 14 days. If a longer response time is needed, Mapleluxx will notify the consumer within 14 days with an estimated reply timeframe. If the complaint cannot be resolved mutually, it becomes a dispute subject to the dispute resolution procedure. A complaint does not suspend Mapleluxx’s obligations unless confirmed otherwise. If a complaint is justified, Mapleluxx will repair or replace the product free of charge.
Article 15 – Disputes Agreements between Mapleluxx and the consumer to which these terms apply are governed exclusively by Dutch law, even if the consumer resides abroad.

The withdrawal period is 30 days from the day:
-
You or a third party (not the carrier) receives the goods (for single delivery orders).
-
You or a third party (not the carrier) receives the last item (for multiple item orders delivered separately).
To exercise your right of withdrawal, inform us via email at: support@mapleluxx.com. You may use the model withdrawal form, but this is not mandatory.

You provide proof of return.
You must return goods within 30 days after informing us of your cancellation. You meet the deadline if you return the goods within this 30-day period.
